Meet Daniel Bryon, OD

Daniel Byron, OD joined Conestoga Eye with comprehensive training in the diagnosis and medical management of ocular disease as well as routine care and contact lens fittings. Originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania and graduate of the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Byron received his Doctorate of Optometry with honors at Salus University in Philadelphia.

He then completed his residency at Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Havre de Grace, Maryland in 2017, receiving extensive training focused on the diagnosis and management of various ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, anterior segment/corneal disease, ocular emergencies, ocular manifestations of systemic disease as well as pre and post op care of cataract, LASIK, glaucoma and eyelid surgeries.

After completing residency, Dr. Byron stayed with the practice for 9 years, eventually becoming the director of both the student intern and residency programs.

Dr. Byron is looking forward to offering exceptional eye care to his patients to improve both their quality of vision and quality of life. He is excited to be at Conestoga Eye and hopes to provide the experience that will allow patients  to feel comfortable and confident in their care.

Outside of work, Dr. Byron loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, and try new restaurants and cuisines from around the world.
